Sailor Jerry pin-up girls

Drawn for a friend's birthday. I'm a big fan of the traditional Sailor Jerry pin-up girl tattoos. I felt a bit like I should have stained it using tea bags & rolled it up in a bottle. Sting would've liked it anyway. Completed 7th August 2013.

Communist Wonder Woman

From Superman: Red Son. You capitalist pigs! I read this and as well a being blown way by the storyline, Superman's and Wonder Woman's outfits are pretty awesome too. I particularly liked the crest incorporating the hammer and sickle. Completed 8th July 2013.

Mathematical!

Adventure Time sketch. The colours I had were limited to whatever I had  in my WH smith pack of 30 (that hasn't dried up) hence the colours being not quite right. Still fun though?! Completed 28th June 2013.

Everyday is like Sunday

Morrissey sketch. This turned out more cartoony than I intended it to be, but I think it's okay so I've honoured it with its own blog post. Completed on 30th June 2013.

Blue blue electric blue

That's the colour of my room. David Bowie sketch. I found a black and white photo of him on Google that I liked so I thought I'd have a go at drawing it. The perspective was a bit difficult to get my head round, especially as I find noses hard to draw, but I'm quite pleased with it. The iPhone filters worked quite nicely with it too. Completed on 24th June 2013.

 

Batwoman

I've been working on this for about 3 months on and off and have finally completed it. I forgot how much I enjoyed sketching.
